What is Aim STEM Girls?

Hi! I’m Shreya Nair: the founder of AimStemGirls.

I started this initiative as a way of exposing girls to both STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and Speech & Debate.

We focus on helping girls develop soft skills such as developing self-esteem, opportunity awareness, and networking.

These skills are meant to help girls overcome the many obstacles they’ll face in achieving their dreams and aspirations in the world of STEM. Even with modern pushes for women in STEM, many girls still endure much friction when going through the STEM pipeline. It’s our duty to best prepare students through soft skills and written articulation to streamline that process —leading to a more equitable future.
